About

Who We Are

Columbus Animal Allies started as a small group of people who were alarmed at the urgent need for reform at Columbus Animal Care & Control Center. The idea of wanting change that's needed isn't new, as the Columbus community has worked for and been in support of changes at CACCC for years. It was the sudden, rapid regression of operations and outcomes as a result of management's resistance to resources offered by experts and nationally recognized organizations and refusal of accountability to the community that made action a necessity. Join us in our efforts to bring the community together to reform Columbus Animal Care & Control Center so that each animal who enters is given the best chance to live his or her one life.
